I did at least 20 minutes of research to bring you this hard hitting news and develop my uneducated opinion on the topic of Atlantic fields.

TLDR: we all know infrastructure can’t handle this shopping center - before it arrives. Updating the bridge and widening lanes is not going to happen for logistical and financial. Construction immediately after they break ground, or complete, it’s just as unreasonable for the exact same reasons.

\- devils advocate though: developing this land into literally anything else will present similar challenges. I think the question comes down to - is this the best we/they can for the community? And will the Delaware beaches get a better deal than 70 million over the next 20 years (don’t cite me on that, I’m just a guy who googles). I don’t know. But I do empathize with both sides, we simply don’t have the infrastructure, but that’s always going to be a problem as more people flock to live in coastal Sussex County. It’s an inconvenient truth.

 PS:

I just want to say that I am not an authority on the subject, everything in here is conjecture, it might as well be fake news, this is strictly for entertainment purposes.

For my advantage point I think it makes sense though. Please have a civilized discussion amongst yourselves.
