Horrible neck pain?

The last few weeks I’ve been suffering from neck pain at the back of my neck up to the base of my skull. I don’t think I injured it. It gets worse as the day goes on. I am suspecting vestibular migraines? I was having migraine-ish headaches for several months and my neurologist said my headaches sounded like migraines (had them bad in my 30’s but they stopped with Topamax) but I have to have a special visit with her to get evaluated (I was there for my neuropathy issues) and get meds. Her office is like 40 minutes away, I can’t (won’t) drive anymore and my husband is only off Mondays so that’s when we schedule medical stuff. Anyone else have neck pain like this and what helps?
