Was anyone else apprehensive going into S3 over the whole "zombie thing"?

S1 and 2 are some of my absolute most favorite cinema ever created.

And, feel free to judge me its fine, my 11 year old daughter watched with me, and cried like 4 or 5 times, and also absolutely freaking loved it.

There was something so truly special about this show.

Then it was over. And, I was kind of alright with that. It was a story that ended. I was good with an anthology series, if that ever came to pass, but didnt "need it to happen".

Then the announcement of S3 came... "Zombie Spear".

"Oh God... I will watch it, cause, Genndy, cause Primal... but this could be so bad..." was my thought.

So, I wasnt really hyped, or counting down the days. Just went in to it with low expectations.

And, of course, I am completely gripped. Desperate for more. NOW. Cant wait to see what absolute heart break lies ahead. I know it is coming.

How does Genndy keep doing this to me???
