I’d rather lose a lane to drive in than see a sidewalk people can’t use

I think as long as cars have a fully cleared lane to drive in then the snow shouldn’t be pushed into the sidewalk. I see some sidewalks where the snow is pushed so high you’re forced to walk on the road and climb mountains of snow so there can be 2-3 cleared lanes. And imagine being elderly or disabled and trying to get to your bus top when there’s so much snow blocking you. I say this as a driver but seeing kids and people with mobility issues struggle and fall makes me really hate cars. One day we’ll be 90 half blind and can’t drive and the sidewalk is all well have
