Due to injury my spouse can't go. Do I get any refund?

I have a cruise coming up in 2 weeks my wife needs wrist surgery so she can't go. I still plan to go and was wondering if I will be refunded any taxes and fees. I know I won't be paying her gratuities. My travel agent says to take her name off the cruise ahead of time it would cost me $198 so to just say she is a no show when I board. He also said to ask about any reimbursement but was I wondering if anyone knew about this situation.
