Go 3S Bitrate

i am struggling with the Go 3S bitrate in FreeFrame mode. I record in 1440p/50FPS. The videos get saved with 100Mbit/s.

My problem is that i have the camera mounted on a very unsteady subject (cat) and due to the excessive motion, the video compression is killing the quality to the point where I could export the stabilized footage with 10Mbit/s @ 720p and not lose quality.

It is not motion-blur due to long shutter-speeds in low light conditions, I am really hitting the bitrate limit.

I checked the write-speed of the internal flash and it is good enough to saturate USB2.0, therefore it should handle much more than the specified 120Mbit/s.

1. Is it technically possible to increase the bitrate further? If yes, would you consider that in a firmware update?
2. Have you ever considered to apply the builtin stabilization and store the stabilized footage alongside with the transformations that were done each frame? The Advanced FlowState stabilization could take the standard-stabilization into account. That would help with the bitrate-bottleneck while costing some fov.
