Completely new, do you think this is a good place to start?

Hi, so got a full frame 5d mark iii, and a 24mm - 70mm canon lens. I have also acquired a flash recently.

I want to practice real estate photography and see if its a part of photography I'm enjoy and maybe go into more. I have a habit of making things too complicated for myself so im trying to simplify things as much as possible. This is what im aiming for right now with the stuff I have.

Setting the camera on a 2 sec delay on my tripod. Im keeping aperature priority since I have the tripod although am able to shoot manual.

Shooting at about f8, iso 400ish (just an average example).

Making sure the camera is level im then taking 5 bracketed shots.

I am also taking 1 flash shot with flash on ttl aimed towards the window if possible to have the option to use that for the window pull.

The editing side im venturing into next. I have photoshop and lightroom. Ive been using them for a year or so now so should follow some tutorials for HDR shots.

I did look at flambient tutorials by Nathan Cool on YouTube. And although I mostly understood I thought id be better off starting with HDR.

Am I missing anything crucial here in terms of practicing? Obviously composition is incredibly important but just in regards to technical setup.

Any tips would be great, im just researching and watching youtube at the moment.
