Can we take some time to appreciate the good things?

I mint the first one to say it, but we are a negative and toxic community. So I wanted to take some time to appreciate the good things happening in our game right now.

1. the roster may be in it’s least broken state. Besides supports with clear good picks, with the dive buffs most characters are very usablde up until eternity. Almost everyone can be used on dos besides some flyers and we’re looking at a tank roster in its best state ever, with pretty much everyone tank viable in comp. The devs clearly listened (despite what this community would make you think) and took a good step in the correct direction for game balance.

2. The drama has made games much less toxic. The drama has made my ranked remakes so much less toxic toxic. It’s a combination of played who are coming back bc of kinsman, to people casually cracking jokes and being nicer. obviously still not always supportive, but I would say its Now common to see funny, kind and all sround teammates you enjoy queuing with and are flexible and fun. This has made comp genuinely so much for fun, and i Have for the first time ever thought about adding friends more than avoiding teamates

3. Deadpool’s launch was not as bad as made out to be. Deadpool’s design is hilarious, from his voice lines to all his abilities, but many people were worried abt him on release. and I can say, he’s still strong, but not the gambit he was made out to be. He’s high skill, but I haven’t seen s situation where hes insane. The devs released him in a generally good spot, and at a powe level I want to see more off in future releases, and we just got a iconic character in a good place.

4. Streamers are growing.

also because of the drama kingsman has has crazy viewership on twitch. but his raids and queuing with other streamers has hosted numbers. I saw a Marc deezy stream raided with 2.5k viewers kept and in his next stream he had almost 200 more viewers than avg. if more ppl are introduced to higher level streamers they like, its good for MR streaming.

5. the devs care, and actively try to meet our demands. People always whine about “their after money” but that’s their job. They give us a Ton of free credits and other cosmetics, and genuinely have some of the coolest skins in gaming. They listen try to change to what we as a community want, and half the time the issues that come up ride from our whining (like the dive nerf).

so appriciate our game. We’re going back to more mainstream. We’re less toxic. A great guy is famous and injecting new excitement for many returning player. are worked are being answered. The devs try. So be positive and try not to ruin the game through toxicity and whining
