Potions and decoctions in W4…

Just a thought … Ciri isn’t really a true witcher in the sense that she doesn’t have the genetic mutations correct? So, will that mean she can’t use potions and decoctions like Geralt? I am just curious if they are going to have to scrap or re-think that entire part of the game. Or will they somehow retcon Ciri’s story to make it work.
