Caution Re Elix

I am making a reddit account specifically to come and offer a warning to folks who might have a similar situation to me. First off I wanna say the practitioners I spoke with seemed really lovely and they felt genuine. Two of the formulas were extremely helpful for digestion and bloating. However, I am quitting after 4.5 months on Elix because it caused severe clotting and heavy bleeding, extremely painful ovulation, cystic acne, fatigue, super irregular cycle, and tons of hair loss. I was told to switch formulas a couple times, that I was just having detox/healing crisis, that it was too strong for me and causing me to detox too much. I was unable to get a refund because there were hoops to jump through for the 3 month satisfaction guarantee. I was offered a free bottle of the first formula I was on but when it arrives I will not use it as this has become too dangerous and depleted my body. After reading further on here I see some folks say that some of the ingredients can cause too much estrogen to be produced so pcos/endo/adeno folks should really be wary. I kept thinking if I just stick it out longer like they tell me to it will get better but I fear a one size fits all formula was not the right choice for me. I hope this helps someone avoid unnecessary pain and suffering. In retrospect I would’ve taken the time, energy, and funds to see a TCM doctor near me.
