Why is it so hard to find someone to date?

For context, this 25 M, after accomplishing a career and a good paying job decided to try dating seriously. Installed dating apps, have it for months barely got 3 matches and got ghosted on all.

On the other hand my girl- friend decides to give it a try, she already has 2000+ likes across in just a week.
