Missed JLPT N5 by 3 points – retake N5 or move to N4?
Hi guys,
I just checked my JLPT N5 result, and honestly it was very different from what I expected.
Before checking, I had two scenarios in my head:
- I fail badly and get completely destroyed
- I somehow pass
Luckily, the first one didn’t happen — but the second didn’t happen either.
I missed passing by just 3 points, and this was my first JLPT attempt, so it’s really frustrating right now. After checking the result I just went to take a shower and I’m writing this with a confused mind.
Now I’m not sure what to do next:
- Should I retake N5 and clear it properly?
- Or should I prepare for N4 directly?
I’d really like to hear opinions from people who’ve been in a similar situation.
Thanks.
