I’ve heard that dreams about being chased can have hidden meaning but what would it mean if I had a dream of being chased and turned around to stab the person chasing me?

I was with my best friend in my dream being chased through my neighborhood by a kidnapper but turned around and and stabbed him in the chest. He also pulled out a knife stabbing me at the same time which is where the dream ended.
