I’m deciding between two mini bags and would love input from people who own either (or both).

This is for my personal collection. I do not plan on reselling, so resale value is not a factor. I’m more focused on durability, leather quality, and how well the bag will hold up long term. This is something I plan to keep for years and potentially pass down.

Option 1: Goyard Saigon Mini
Price: about $2,700
Condition: basically brand new, barely used

Option 2: Delvaux Brillant Mini
Price: about $1,800
Condition: excellent overall, leather and interior look brand new, but there is very minimal wear on the hardware
Leather: thicker, grained leather (not box or shiny), feels very strong and durable

I’m trying to decide which one is harder to come by at this price in terms of quality and longevity, not resale. I want something that will age well over time without needing to be babied too much.

For those who own either bag:
How has the leather held up over time
Any issues with scratches, corners, structure, or hardware
Which feels more durable and timeless for long term ownership
If you had to choose one purely to keep forever, which would you pick and why

Appreciate any insight, especially from people who’ve lived with these bags long term.

Help me decide: Goyard Saigon Mini vs Delvaux Brillant Mini
