20 with an expired permit, do I have to retake my permit test to get my driver’s license??

Long story short, I just recently got my own car last Christmas that needed a lot of work done, which only led me to start practicing driving a couple months ago. I planned on taking my drivers test last week but the DMV has been closed due to snow this entire week. It just expired today and the DMV is still closed. Do I have to retake my permit test to get my license?
