# Plot

The Order of the Blessed Vigil was a small order, tasked with guarding a single shrine world. Kalaris IV, located near Belis Corona it was once a relatively peaceful planet, located near Cadia yet still far enough away from the most dangerous routes out of the Eye. It served as a shrine and burial place for many relics and heroes of the Imperium in the eternal fight against chaos.

Though this would change after the 13th Black Crusade. The Cicatrix Maladictum had torn through the system, placing the once holy world onto the screaming edge of the abyss. It didn't take long for the world to be subject to chaos invasions and yet the order held it for many years. Constant skirmishes and minor invasions turned the once serene world into a battle-scarred waste.

But after so many years of holding the world finally fell, a massive chaos Warband assaulting the planet turning it into a world doomed for darkness. Most of the order chose to stay, fighting on the planet to the last. Really all of the order had wished to become martyrs for such a holy place, but the Cannonees Superior, to be fair to all while still holding her her oaths, had selected two hundred sisters from the order to take the most holy of relics off the planet and to refound the order somewhere else, to carry on the legacy of the order.

You, fortunately or unfortunately we're the most senior sister selected from the order, and so the fate of the order and the holy relics you have sworn to protect now rests in your hands.

# Details:

Hello and thanks for reading so far. First off I'll start by saying that 40k knowledge isn't strictly needed, some idea of what the setting is about is appreciated but I'm more than happy to teach, I value enthusiasm much more than knowledge. I tend to homebrew quite a bit of 40k regardless, removing a lot of grimderp and adding in a fair bit to fill in gaps in the lore mostly. Also I do have numerous other ideas set in 40k if this one doesnt interest you.

I'm an experienced GM (M23 EST) with over 10 years of experience with both D&D and similar systems, and 40k as a whole. I'm generally highly detailed and most of all value a compelling story, with a nice mix of character interactions, actions, and of course a fair bit of spice!

For this plot it is going to be on the larger scale of things. You will start with a cruiser sized ship and a small, fairly ragtag group of sisters along with a smaller number of crusaders. For this I do plan on using likely homebrewed 5e (I know the 40k RPGs but I find them a bit too complex for a more story focused RP), along with potentially tabletop battles using some homebrewed tabletop rules based off 9th edition (likely on tabletop simulator. Don't worry if you don't know the tabletop or only played 10th).

The exact specifics of the plot aren't exactly set but expect to meet many characters along the way to help or hinder you in re-establishing your order. A good portion of this will be dealing with other characters both with politics and smut. What amount of hentai logic we want to apply to 40k can be discussed (such as: how likely an inquisitor will be to let you off the hook if you suck him off).

As for your character you could be anyone in the order, from a battle hardened celestian superior who was the personal aid of the Cannones superior, or the newest sister superior yet to prove herself in the eyes of her sisters.

I'm generally looking for someone fun and descriptive, who is smart and will enjoy the whole strategy/political elements without me needing to do too much railroading. A switch or dom would make the most sense but I could make this work with a sub so long as you are more of a power bottom. American time zones are preferred but if you're European and stay up late that's perfectly fine as well, and a reasonable amount of availability. I tend to aim for a minimum of around 10-30 responses a day, but if we are both free you can expect multiple responses and hours.

If you are interested send me a message here. Please include all the basics in your first message, ASL (timezone more than location), experience with DnD and 40k, and general kinks.
