My husband gave me a massage after my D&C

Hi all, needing to hear others stories.

I got a D&C yesterday after having a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks. I didn’t really bleed at all today, barely spotted. My back has been bothering me so I had my husband massage it, he does this when I have bad cramps on my period as well. Approximately 20-30 minutes after the massage, I’m now bleeding pretty heavily. I changed my pad 20 minutes ago and am waiting until I hit an hour to see if I soaked it. No where on the instructions did it say avoid a massage. But now that I looked it up it says wait until after bleeding stops or until cleared by a doctor. I don’t have any pain and am afraid to contact the exchange line for my office since it’s so late at night. I feel like an idiot! Has anyone else experienced this?
