Carers Allowance for toddler denied - applying for review

Other

I am applying for a review of my denied carers allowance claim for my just turned 3yo.

It was denied on the basis that the online form I completed showed his support needs weren’t high enough and the guy on the phone told me that he is “independent”….

He told me the paper form to complete if I want to have it reviewed, and there’s a behaviour section I didn’t complete which I think will change things (it’s only for children 3 and over and didn’t show up on the online form since my child was 2y 7m when I applied).

Does anyone know if including a Vineland-3 reporting showing Daily Living Skills in the 2nd percentile for age would support the application? His paediatrician also completed the required form and the staff member on the phone told me there was nothing wrong with the doctors paperwork, just mine.

He has a global developmental delay, a receptive language disorder and is awaiting an Autism assessment. He already has NDIS.
