[Routine Help] red spots from tretinoin?

I have been using tretinoin 0.025% and clyndamycin lotion for about two years now. It's been successful for the most part. However, as it's gotten colder and dryer in the winter, my skin has started breaking out again and I have been getting red spots around my mouth. They are sparse, not clustered, not sensitive, just spots. They do sometimes form into pimples but often are just dry and peeling. l've tried heavier moisturizers, they break me out more. l've tried vaseline (not on top of the tretinoin because I know that makes it more potent). I have been using the cerave pm oil free moisturizer for years now and it's worked for me. I also use the cerave hydrating cleanser. I'm not sure what else to change to fix this issue.
