Popping in here to ask if its literally normal to have music banned in your school?

Asking this but literally, music in general is banned. You can't listen to stuff on your headphones during lunch, in the hallways, or while you are like yknow doing your work. Literally banned in general because its a "distraction."

Im literally not talking about while the teachers maybe teaching something, or a announcements on. No, literally those things.

Just asking since its been a rule for a pretty long time now borderline about to get stricter to the point they might just ban headphones in general, and its already ridiculous with the hoodie policy and the sleeping aint allowed rule.
