Are triple doubles the most overrated stat?
Let me start this off by saying I love Brodie and his year on the wizards was one of the most fun we've had in recent years.
But triple doubles shouldn't be used to prove a guy greatness. If a player were to get one less rebound would that mean he isn't as great. Russ won an mvp based on this arbitrary number and will probably get to the HOF because he average an extra rebound.
This isn't a post dedicated to shit on Russ, but let's just say he didn't get triple doubles and averaged one less rebound a game. He wouldn't have gotten MVP and I think that is stupid.
I would rather have a guy averaging 27/12/5 then a guy averaging 15/10/10.
