Having children with EDS

Hi everyone, my (f26) partner (m35) has hypermobile EDS. We love each other very much and I think he would be an amazing father. But I'm really scared. Really scared that if we have children they will have EDS and suffer just like him (a lot) . I don't want this for them nor for him or me. I'm also scared that even if they're healthy, he probably won't be able to take care of them for more than an hour a day (if his health stays the same). I like to think that my genes could balance it out as I have a very sturdy body, big bones and not hypermobile at all. But I don't even know if it really "works" like that.

Do you guys have children? Do you want some? Did you have them knowing they could get EDS? Did they get it?
