Potential Fostering

Hi all,

I have recently moved into a new home with my partner, however the landlords have advised due to prior damage from a previous pet, they will not allow pets again

The issue is, at our previous house we were allowed my cat and we thought it would just be a matter of putting through another pet application to the landlord/REA however, since the owners themselves have advised they don't want pets and we would like to continue this lease, we have made a very hard choice to potentially re-home her until we build a rapport with our owners, so further down the line we may be able to move her back in

My issue is I don't have much family and I've reached out to a couple of friends, however they are unable to take the cat, I was hoping for some advice for potential places she would be well looked after

I know that we could keep her and just hide her at the inspections, however since we have asked about an animal we feel as though they will be thorough during inspections and if they even suspect, I don't want our rental history to be tarnished or broken the lease

We are highly hoping that they will allow the cat here after a period of time, knowing we are good tenants but until then I am lost.

My heart is absolutely broken since finding out and just want some idea of where to go from here
