Nitrado server help

Hey everyone, I'd like some info on Nitrado servers because my friend and I rented one that's open 24/7. I'd like to know if there are any settings to adjust to change the default settings. Is the server set to version 1.4.5 by default? And is it normal that not many slimes spawn around my house? Thanks, and happy gaming!
