If case of alien visitors coming to earth, how do we know if first contact is with someone important or just a tourist who pretends to be someone important?

I mean if aliens can come to Earth then they would be vastly more advanced than us. So how do we know if it’s someone important that decides to visit us or just an alien vlogger who is just pretending to be an ambassador? It’s the equivalent of some small time millionaire who goes to the Sentinelese Island in a helicopter and claim that he’s the emperor of earth. Can you imagine if our first impression of them is from SPACE! Johny Somali.
