17M Student, writing a book
Hey everyone,
I am 17M, and I am in the process of writing a novella (a shorter novel). I am making good progress on it but I would like some test readers to read what I have so far. It's about 30 pages and might take you a couple hours to read if you're a slow reader.
I am looking for critiques from all sorts of people, and since English teachers normally like reading books, I figured this would be a good place.
For interest baiting, it's basically about a situationship that ends badly, and explores themes of trauma, attachment styles, and limerence. It is based on personal events.
Keep in mind it is a unfinished first draft, and any critique is welcome, but please don't be too harsh. Constructive criticism like, "I see the vision here, but maybe it needs a little work in this area. Tighten sentence structure there and you will get your point across more clearly" rather than, "This sucks"
If interested, comment below and I will DM you the link.
Thank you!
