Small baby

Question

Ok So I am 35w FTM

My baby is measuring smaller than usual. She’s below the 10th percentile which kind of puts me at high risk but the doctors have not shown to be alarmed due to constant monitoring now with dopplers and NSTs every week now. Today the doctor mentioned if I am not yet laboring by week 39 she recommends inducing. I really don’t see myself going past week 39 either but she did mention by week 40 or more I’m at risk for a still birth (worst case) due to my current circumstance. I guess what I’m asking is, has anyone had a similar experience???

I’m really trying not to freak out if I don’t have a reason to. I’m super petite too, 5 foot was 127lbs when I got pregnant. My waist was 27inches. I really could just be making a small baby and that’s ok too. That’s what I keep telling myself. And everybody else.

What’s dawning on me is how fast she can come. I see so many women birthing at 37w or 38 it’s crazy to me thinking she could come 2 weeks from now or 3. Anyway I know everyone is different and I won’t labor till my body and baby is ready to. Just wondering if anybody had a similar experience with this type of scenario and maybe had complications??? Positive birth story? Negative birth story? Anything I should know or be aware of and lookout for?

I’m really just hoping for the best and healthiest experience. 🙏🏼 TIA
