what am i supposed to do after a wavemate kinda threatened to beat me up in the team gc?
hello! newbie here, just 2 months employed in a bpo company, and i'd just like some advice.
long story short, while i was side-barging on my wavemate (who i thought had a civil joking friendship with), i was being an asshole. like, i was trying to help him out, point out the cpp violations he was unknowingly doing or how to do a certain process and all that stuff since i had a little bit more experience than him (he unfortunately ran into a lot of problems with his system so he was lagging behind the team).
the way i did that, though, was very aggressive, i.e. calling him "dumb" and saying stuff like "oh my god, this guy..." in a very exhausted and passive-aggressive tone. i get that what i did was bullying, and i sincerely apologized to him about it when it was brought up in the group gc, but that's the thing. he immediately brought it up in the team gc with our boss still in it.
i thought we were all just joking around, so i replied to one of my other wavemates that mentioned me with "of course im irate this guy's so dumb". now after that, he just proceeded with calling me "perfect" and that i could do no wrong. i was still kinda holding on to hope that we were still joking, so i replied with some sarcastic comments like "okay sure if trainer wants to, i can get removed" and "wawa".
now, this is where it gets kinda crazy. he started saying stuff like "no one wants you here", "you should've been the one that got removed" (another wavemate of mine recently got reprofiled due to failed training), "leave the company", some this like that. and then suddenly he said that i'm lucky i'm a girl because if i was a guy he would've beat me up right then and there in the training room (btw i'm not a girl, i'm transmasc but i haven't started hrt yet or get surgery because i'm broke).
this guy has a criminology degree and was a rookie cop, iirc, so i'm kinda fearing for my life here. i'm debating on whether to just let it go and be extra cautious until i go to production or report him to hr. i actually have my brother buying pepper spray right now so i can have something to defend myself, but this dude is like a raging alcoholic, so what if he gets drunk as hell and decides "fuck it" and straight up shoot me? that sounds very unlikely, but i'm diagnosed with anxiety so i dunno.
any advice? my trainer has seen the messages and have told both of us to cut it out, but i fear that's the only thing he'll do.
