We just got back from the vet with a wet FIP diagnosis for Layla, our new 6 month kitten addition to 5 adult fur babies. Her stomach is so swollen that we thought she was pregnant! 

The vet was not familiar with this new medication and his prognosis was grim.

However, we just did some research and found out about GS441525 and would like to begin treatment ASAP. We will of course consult with the vet tomorrow, but wanted to get our an order started so it can be shipped to us ASAP.

ChatGPT warns that some providers are grey market and should be avoided.

I have 2 questions:

1. Is it true that it is better to start with the injections at least for the first month, and then after it improves switch to oral? Layla is very mellow and I have experience with administration of subcutaneous injections and fluids. 

2. Which online source is reliable and trustworthy?

While price is a factor (fipcure.com is cheaper), we can afford the more expensive sources if needed.

StokesPharmacy seems to be a highly reputable source, but they only offer oral (tab or suspension) medication.

Chewy, our go-to online pharmacy also doesn’t offer injectables and their shipping might take longer as they usually require us to mail in a physical prescription.
