Just got out of a screening of Pascal Plante's upcoming film "Thank You For Posting", AMA

There isn't too much information about it and It hasn't picked up a distributor yet but this movie is bleak, darkly comedic, and timely. It's not a horror film like Red Rooms but it has a lot of thematic similarities. Lucas Hedges's performance as a man stuck to his phone and computer screens and obsessed with internet trolling, which he intellectualizes as an artform, is intense and often very funny. I also greatly enjoyed Sarah Desjardin as the romantic interest, Algee Smith as a comic relief character, Raffey Cassidy as a quintessential zoomer, and of course a hilarious bit part by Michael Shannon. The cinematography is beautiful and a motorcycle ride through the night set to Angel in the Snow by Elliott Smith utterly floored me. Expect to be hearing about this movie very soon.
