Lost in the choice of toric lens correction

Hello everyone,

Sorry for the long text, it's to better explain the context.

For a while now, I've wanted to wear colored contact lenses, so I went to an ophthalmologist where I live (France) who gave me two prescriptions, one for glasses and one for contact lenses. They're almost identical; only the numbers in ( ) are slightly different, by 0.25.

However, last summer I was in Japan and took the opportunity to get new glasses. The ophthalmologist there first took the glasses I was wearing to check the prescription and then examined me to verify it. He told me that it hadn't changed and then made me new glasses, which I'm currently wearing without any problems. However, out of curiosity, I checked the website where I bought them in Japan and found prescriptions that seem completely different from the ones I have here in France. Are the French and Japanese prescription classifications really that different?

french prescription

japan prescription

I don't want to wear these lenses constantly/for long periods, it would just be for occasional use on certain occasions, this why i would chose daily solution (so I also wondered, am I obliged to wear toric lenses?)

I'd like to order toric lenses from this Korean website, but I'm worried about getting the wrong prescription:

https://www.korlens.com/products/event.php?product_id=1822

If I go by the French prescription, I should get:

SPH-L -3.00
CYL-L -1.75
Axis-L 100

Thank you for any help/answer
