What was your experience with endometriosis?

Ive been learning a lot reading every one's stories and just wanted to know how it relates to mine.

I think i have endometriosis and it seemed to come out of nowhere. During my period I am practically on bed rest because I am in so much pain when I move. I also get extremely dizzy. My periods were never this bad and all of the sudden I can only walk with a limp when I am on it.

So far since December I've had two er visits and seen a PCP several times and an Obgyn who gave an ultrasound. I am starting birth control this Sunday. I feel the process is so slow.

Im losing hope in the future. Ive missed so much work and I just want to return to normal. Should I push an mri or wait and see if the birth control works. Im also afraid if its something else and im ignoring something serious due to assumptions.
