lactating but no positive test?

I feel I have to preface this with the fact that I may have PCOS, but I am utterly confused. I am as far as lactating, but keep getting negative tests. There's no outside factors that could cause me to lactate and I have no symptoms of galactorrhea. I am bleeding but extremely abnormally. None of my cycles make sense. I've had some faint line positives but from convenient store tests, I'm considering getting my blood tested. Any thoughts?
