How do yall handle to alien fleets of 100+ ships in the latest version?

Basically title. How am I supposed to deal with a fleet of 130 ships? Especially when they’re in the outer belt, fly around constantly super quickly dodging my fleets? The only ships that seem to do much damage before dying are my capital ships but I can’t produce enough to combat a single battle against 130 aliens.

Also, semi-related, did the weapon meta change?
