Help! I paid for the game but it wont run. Any chance for refund?

I don't know who to go to for this. I've always wanted to play Manor Lords but I have a Mac so I've always been Squidward staring out window in that meme, watching everyone else enjoy this beautiful game. Recently, I figured out how to run Windows parallel on my mac and tested it out with Call to Arms Gates of Hell ( which is a pretty demmanding game) it ran just fine at ultra settings. So with that confidence, I immediately bought Manor Lords so excitedly to finally try this game. To my absolute devastation, the game went no further than the launch screen and crashed. I tried to reinstall but the same happened. After some research, the cause seems to DirectX ( which is strange since Call To Arms Gates of Hell ran just fine) For now there doesnt seem to be a solution except for "get a a pc". So I guess what i'm asking for is 1. Is there a solution I'm not seeing? 2. If there's no solution, is there a way to get a refund?
