THEY DIDN’T GET TO TALK - and reunion spoiler

Sorry for a separate post. I’m just so bummed right now that I wanted to make sure that my thoughts didn’t get buried in the comments of another post. 

I am a HUGE Candice and Rob fan. I’ve been a Potomac fan for years and regularly interact with her husband on his daily affirmation posts. They are a really sweet couple.  I am also a huge Rob fan way before him being on Traitors. You can imagine how thrilled I was when they were both named Traitors.  It was Christmas and my birthday all at the same time. 

I think they have both been doing well. Honestly, I think Rob has been playing better. 

I understand Candice may be upset about last week’s vote. First, we have to remember that she didn’t get to view what we saw about Rob and Ron’s interactions. Rob definitely voted somewhat with his heart. I understand it and actually admire it. From a game point of view, with thought, it was also smart. I wrote a long post last week justifying it. But I had to justify it on the back end. 

The problem is that the Traitors DID NOT GET ADEQUATE TIME TO TALK AFTER!!!  Because of the banquet, they didn’t get to meet that night. This screwed everything up. They needed a meeting to try and clear things up. They got a few moments in the kitchen and that was focused on what Lisa was going to do. Then, they got a few minutes at breakfast. But they couldn’t get into anything that deep when someone was going to walk in any second. They tried - but it wasn’t the right setting. 

Rob truly did not want to vote for Lisa the first time. As I’ve written previously, I really think that was his only option at the end of the day. He WAS NOT gunning for her. 

However, once Yam Yam said her name, she was done. Between that and Colton gunning for her, it was inevitable. Rob was aware. What Candice did to protect Lisa was nice, but was NEVER going to work. I ALSO think Candice made herself look suspicious by refusing to vote for either Natalie or Lisa. 

I have watched Candice for years. I truly love her, but she definitely can overreact. Most of the time I don’t mind because I’m normally on her side. This was DUMB and DISAPPOINTING!!!  She should have at least waited until they had a proper face to face and try to reach an understanding before completely blowing up their relationship. I’m so mad at this. Candice has a tendency to go from 0 to 100. If they worked together, I think they could have cruised to the end. Now, they are going to both have to work. Ultimately, I think Rob comes out on top. 

Candice said months ago that she was going to cuss someone out at the reunion. It is pretty clear who it will be.

I might have more later, but I’m sitting here bummed and glad I can at least share my thoughts.
