Teammates in the trial and ramming

So, I'm doing the weekly trial, first race goes fine but second race everyone is lagging behind the AI. I start driving slowly to block the AI and let everyone pass. All is well and good, so I start driving normally and start catching up. As I catch up to a teammate they ram me off the road where there is that bridge part. I don't lose much distance, managed to go down make take the jump back on track. I proceed to catch up and slam them into the wall, and they fall to last place. The most satisfying thing I did. I'm all for helping the team and trying to make it a 2-race trial but when people do that, they get what's coming.
