Much appreciation to anyone who reads or interacts with this post. I’m really leaning on all support systems during this challenging time.

25F only child here. My mother passed in 2020 which shook my world, and ultimately ended up sparking my interest in astrology. I lived in turbulent unhealthy situations until I graduated from school and was able to support myself financially. My father has been dealing with health issues and alcoholism since before my mom’s death, and just this past week I found out my father passed away.

I had a challenging upbringing. From a young age I knew I had to work hard or else I would’ve encountered the same struggles my parents battled. After navigating the traumatic death of my mother during college and now having to clean up the chaotic mess that my dad left me, I feel shell shocked and unsure of what’s ahead.

I have virtually no family.

It feels like I’m a leaf floating in the breeze, once connected to a tree but now traveling the winds of change.

Though my father and I weren’t close, I’m grieving him and the version of myself that existed when he was still alive. I’m feeling lost in a way I’ve not experienced before. I knew that 2026 was going to be a big year for me, but this really changes the way I’m seeing things.

What do you think I’ll encounter / experience in this coming year? What do you think I have to look forward to?

Looking for guidance following the recent death of my father [astro-seek]
