I’ve been approved on my first credit card on my own any advice for me
Luckily, my mom helped me a lot with my credit before she passed. Because of her, I’m sitting in the 770s, and at 19 I just got my first credit card entirely on my own.
Now that she’s not here to mentor me, I’m honestly a bit lost when it comes to how I should be using credit correctly. I understand the basics, but I want to make sure I’m doing this the right way long-term.
Should I keep my recurring bills (phone, gym, internet, etc.) running through my bank account and use my credit card for everyday spending like gas and food? Or is it better to put those bills on the credit card instead?
I feel like I’m on the right track, just looking for guidance from people who’ve been through this.
The 3 cards I were approved for were the platinum master card, Savor One, & quick silver one. I ended up going with the savor one idk if that was a good choice or not.
