EA love to do the bare minimum

They “nerfed” AI defending and nerfed keeper movement but didn’t improve manual defending or nerf how quick players fidget spin (cough cough Pina), so now you still have the issue of pressing tackle and the ball being stuck to the opponents feet as if every player is 012 Messi or your player deciding to tackle 8 inches to the side. (Incoming skill issue comments like this is a unique issue)

Now there’s talk of them nerfing playstyles, instead of doing it in conjunction with boosting how players play without playstyles. Professional footballers can pass a ball first time - you shouldn’t need tiki taka for it to reach its target or for it to not get passed at chest height. I really don’t get how difficult it is for them to just make it how it was before playstyles, and then just add playstyle mechanics on top of it. Is that too much to ask for? Because it wasn’t the case in fifa 21 that only Xavi and iniesta could pass a ball first time.

What’s even worse is that it’s only incisive+, low driven and the tiki taka incisive combo that needs to get nerfed. But you know they’re gonna make this the worst patch ever
