Time for another "Now what?" post! Can't make a poll this time so I will need comments.
Time for everyone's favorite part of a DaletheCharmeleon post-story moment. "What the *fox noises* do I do now?" Well, I do have a general idea. But you know, feedback... Hearing from you guys. That sort of thing.
So here's where I'm at. I am wanting to continue my current ongoing series. Mostly because stacking too many at once will likely burn me out so I need to focus on completing one of my ongoing ones first. In this case, it's between "What If Olivia Joined the Royal Guard?" and "What If Ceroba Was Olivia's Child?"...
For "What If Olivia Joined the Royal Guard?", what's primarily stopping me is my use of Apsi. She does not belong to me, obviously. She belongs to CAT_WRITE. I'd like to use her more as a sort of mentor figure for this Olivia, an almost mother figure to steer her right, but I'd want to see what CAT_WRITE says about this. I don't mind making the occasional funny post with others' OCs, since it's nothing but dumb fun. But when it comes to more serious stories, that's kind of where I'm like "I'd rather not over-extend my welcome". I'm at least mostly certain they don't mind Apsi being used, so long as proper credit is given, judging by the lack of any comment, but I'd rather be sure. To me, overusing OCs not my own might as well be crossing a mine field in the midst of hot coal-filled ground.
For "What If Ceroba Was Olivia's Child?", this one is simpler. It's a basic case of "What should I do next to proceed?"... My initial idea was to do a post-UTY Geno run where Clover remembers that run and feels guilt over it. But I do feel like that idea is overdone, much like a typical Clover adoption plot. So I'm just unsure of how I should approach this story at the moment. I do have an idea of where I want to take it, but it's just a matter of... getting there is the issue I'm having. It's like another AU, funnily enough also involving Apsi, where I just ran out of ideas. Here though, I do see an end goal and I just need some ideas. Some guidance.
And that's currently it. One is just a case of I'd need to see what the original creator says. The other is just me needing ideas of how to proceed. Can't give any spoilers, sorry. Do understand that I'm a single guy and sometimes I do need a little help.
With all that said, I'm going to hire a fox to endorse more interaction from you. Kanako! Stare at them!
