Is there a good way to reach out to high schools about interviewing students for grad school research??

I (26f) am current a grad student studying sociolinguistics. For my final research project I'm documenting communication styles in mid-adolescence through three generation (to keep it as brief as possible).

I am looking to do interviews for a portion of this project, and wanted to see if any high school teachers had any advice on best practice for potentially interviewing students, specifically in reaching out to schools (or elsewhere) to ask to conduct interviews. ( I have been advised that reaching out to a school would be the best practice, but Im open to suggestions as none of those people have ever worked in a high school 😅)

A little info: Interview would be audio recorded to be later transcribed. Interviewees would remain anonymous. Questions will revolve around the student's view of social dynamics, within their school as a whole as well as within their own "social circle" or friend group, and will center around informal communication. (Subject to change, but this gives a rough idea.)

Parent permission is obvious requirement. An ethic committee will also review the research methodology before I would reach out at all.

TLDR; Any high school teacher have advice as to how to appropriately and ethically interview students for grad school research?
