My black lion

I say "my" lion because in the dream, the lion chose me. We were in a coliseum type building. The lion was on the "mezzanine" circling the entire perimeter of the building. The people were garbed (in earthy type homespun "robes" or dresses) people observing the lion and milling about as an audience, but a participating audience . Each of us was waiting the possibility of being "chosen" by the lion. The majestic huge black velvety male came over to me, sauntering. He chose me by delivering a psychic message as if he had spoken. "Hop on" he said. In other words, I choose you . The feeling was as if I had won something grand, a gift. I hopped on. Again he relayed psychically that I should hold on tight to his massive mane. It was an amazing comfortable ride, although he was running very fast. Around and around . Similar to flying, while earth bound.

Then, I hopped off. He had given me a symbol on my upper exterior right thigh. It was a map like red mark, like a pale red pink birthmark. He "said" it symbolized that he and I are now forever inseparable. Again, I felt honored and grateful , not "better" than and not like a "winner" just that I was in the exact place I belong at the right time to receive.

The next "round" involved the same lion, choosing another person. This time, he chose a male. I vaguely saw the chosen male before the lion headed to the arena. Now the spectator participants were above. Where did the man go? I was concerned. The lion was in the arena with the man enveloped by folds of the lions hairy belly. It was hard to discern him as "separate" from my huge lion friend. Again, psychically, the lion asked the man to put his head in the lions mouth. No problem. No fear, only absolute acceptance; the lion and the man were neither dominant nor submissive , but very alive. The man did as requested . When his head was in the lions mouth , the lion embedded a tooth ( not his own tooth, but a lion tooth} into the skull of the man. It was not visible. The dream ended. It was a powerful message. I feel gratitude.
