Pc not getting usable connection

Hi, I recently purchased my first PC for school (software editing / photoshop / animation ) and gaming. I have fiber and pay for 1Gbs speed. My PC is connected directly through the ethernet port and only gets about 20-40mbs download speeds and hovers around 126-150 ping. I’ve made sure all the drivers are up to date, i’ve tried rebooting the connection, even buying a new ethernet cable. I even tried wireless since my pc is wifi compatible. This issue started today but i’ve had the pc for a month. I don’t have the same issues on my phone, ipad, or macbook. When i run internet tests on all my devices, the connection is what i am supposed to be getting. Even reached out to the internet provider and had them run a network diagnostic and everything was running smooth from what they could tell. I’m a complete noob to owning a pc so anything would help on improving the connection or figuring out why this issue started up today.
