How do you usually execute actions on Excel data once the sheet exists?

I’m trying to understand the current status quo of executing operations in Excel once data exists.

By execution, I mean:

• Entering or updating data
• Applying operations across rows/columns
• Mutating data using formulas, filters, copy-paste, etc.
• Repeating multi-step actions over time

In practice:

• Do you mostly do this manually with keyboard/mouse?
• Have you automated any part of this (formulas, macros, scripts, add-ins, AIs)?
• If yes, what pushed you to automate?
• If no, what makes automation not worth it?
