Can the Winchester outrange the Turret in Bunker Alpha

I have issues with finding a use for Winchesters, they fire too slowly. Then i thought i could use it for the turrets in Bunker Alpha. Usually you need a M16 or Ak47 to outrange the Turret and not take damage when you destroy it. Can the Winchester acheive that same effect?
