My Chanel 25 Tier list after extensive Rep Science

Hi I own 2 authentic small size and have bought 12 small 4 medium and 5 minis from various factories here is what I learned through my experience.

In terms of authenticity and most passing all around 187 takes the crown.

For example I have bought the suede Chanel 25 brown from 187, Rome, and OF. Only 187 had the right suede that was 1:1 compared to authentic.

I can say confidently 187 is the only factory truly buying the authentic suede leather and for suede Chanel 25s the other factories fall short. I have compared side by side and truly indistinguishable.

(I own the authentic brown suede c25 small so was trying out different factories for rep science)

I would rank most popular factories as such:

1. 187 - Overall best hardware / leather when comparing to the authentic Chanel 25 in sizes mini, small, and medium. I’ve seen people writing that 187 has wrong hardware but owning several 187 c25s and comparing side to side the hardware is 97%+ and has heavy weight to it)

Overall my only issues with 187 is that the stitching at times can be a bit sloppy (this is an issue amongst authentic chanel bags in general as well so I try to be forgiving)

I would rate 187 a 9.5/10 in terms of quality and authenticity and would encourage anyone seeking a good authentic like Chanel 25 to go their route despite some of the comments being spread around. My personal experience has been so far extremely positive. (Please seek out a reputable TS that truly sources from 187)

**highly recommend only buying the suede and denim versions of the Chanel 25 from 187 if you are strictly after authentic-likeness, it’s the only factory that so far has had 1:1 of denim and suede in my experience**

2. Rome (depending on color of the c25) I would say Rome has the best hardware of all the factories in terms of accuracy and weight but Rome can be very hit or miss depending on the version of the bag. I found their minis to seem a bit rushed (uneven stitching in some parts and even leather parts not evenly layering) their small size is pretty stellar. I would say their silver, pink, beige Chanel 25s are 98% accurate to authentic. And their best c25 is the shiny calfskin small size with gold hardware that originally launched with two seams above the side pockets.

Overall I would rate Rome 8.5-9.0/10 depending on the version of the Chanel 25

3. OF (for the most part good, the hardware is smaller and a bit thinner than the authentic and after using my OF c25 black small the hardware has started rubbing off showing the metal underneath) OF *used* to have the best leather for black Chanel 25s in terms of accuracy it was the exact same texture and shine as the authentic small black but it appears they recently stated using a new batch and ran out of the last. :( The prior batch was indistinguishable in terms of the black caviar version (it’s supposed to be incredibly glossy and shiny, like shine on steroids. That’s what the authentic black small is like)

Overall I would rate OF 8.5/10 because the hardware is noticeably smaller when side by side to my authentic. Meaning the literal links of the straps and the pull chain are a bit smaller and thinner.

4. I own 3 God Chanel 25’s and I would say God is pretty good and have gotten even better over the last few months. Their hardware seems to be improving which used to be my big caveat with the factory and some of their leather selection also seems to be improving. I haven’t experienced a truly 1:1 quality Chanel 25 from God despite buying various to compare. The hardware sometimes can be a little too matte (less aged like the authentic hardware) and the leather can sometimes be a bit dry and the wrong texture for Caviar.

God does have amazing stitching and stamping!

Overall I would rate God factory a 8.5/10 as well sometimes higher depending on the version and batch.

5. I own 3 Blake small size Chanel 25’s and 2 minis and I would rate Blake’s quality below both 187 and Rome. Although Blake seems to source very good leather, sometimes truly 1:1, I have found that some of her Chanel 25’s were a miss for me. Overall she has the lightest hardware in terms of weight and accuracy. I would say her hardware is comparable to XC in terms of heaviness and quality. The hardware can very depending on the bag run but from my experience it’s never up to par with Rome’s hardware or 187’s hardware: I will say Blake produces truly beautiful flap bags but in my experience when it comes to her Chanel 25’s in terms of accuracy compared to the authentic I would say her bags are around 85% accurate in terms of her leather and hardware sourcing for the Chanel 25 bags.

Overall I would rate Blake a 8.0-8.5/10 when it comes to her Chanel 25s.

6. XC factory I would say is about 75%-80% accurate when it comes to comparing to the authentic Chanel 25. Their hardware is lighter, less expensive, and overall not the correct color. The leather varies highly from batch to batch but from my experience they are not using 1:1 when it comes to leather quality, shine, and texture. They are less expensive so it makes sense!

I would rate XC 7.5/10 strictly on accuracy and quality compared to the authentic Chanel 25.
