**1) What are Runes?**

 Runes are power-up items obtained through dungeon drops or summons. Once acquired, they are automatically registered in your Codex and can be equipped to your characters (Bots) to upgrade their combat abilities.

**2) The "Codex" System (No Inventory Stress!)**
 Runes are bound to your Codex as soon as you get them, so they don't take up any inventory space. They automatically update only when you find a version with higher stats. It’s designed to give you that satisfying feeling of "getting stronger, bit by bit." 😎

**3) Rune Types: "11 Options x 6 Positions" Runes come with specific effects (Options) and are assigned to particular Positions.**

* Options (11 Types): Life Steal, Combo, Shield, Taunt, Purify, Confusion, DEF Down, etc.
* Positions (6 Types): ATK, AGI, Balanced, Bruiser, HP Tank, Tenacity Tank. Combined, there are a total of 66 collection slots to fill!

4) Only 2 Equipment Rules to Remember!

* Each character can equip only one Rune.
* The character’s position must match the Rune’s position for the effect to activate. 😊 If they don't match, a "POSITION MISMATCH" warning will appear, and the effect won't apply. (You can check the equipped Rune icon directly on the Expedition placement screen! 👀)

**5) Which Runes are the most fun? Some Runes completely change your combat style!**

* Life Steal: Survival through damage.
* Combo/Bounce: Pure satisfaction when they proc.
* Shield/Taunt: Makes your tanks feel like they’re truly "doing their job."
* Purify: A strategic counter to debuffs.
* DEF Down/Confusion: Mess up your opponent’s plans! 😈

**A Word from the GM**

Runes aren't about finding "one right answer." They are pieces that complete your character’s unique personality. For the first week after launch, we’ll be monitoring logs and fine-tuning the growth speed to ensure the best experience. 🛠️🔥

When Runes meet the Expedition battlefield… 💣 “The strategy will truly level up.” 💣
