EB-2 NIW Approved (Non-STEM / Business Endeavor) – Premium Processing Timeline

Sharing my EB-2 NIW timeline for anyone waiting, especially non-STEM / business field applicants.

•	Endeavor: Continuing and expanding an     existing U.S. business

•	Date of Filing: December 8, 2025

•	Processing: Premium Processing

•	Approval Date: January 29, 2026

•	Total Time: \~7 weeks

Important context:

This was not my first NIW filing. I previously filed an EB-2 NIW, received an RFE, and after reviewing it with counsel, I made the decision to withdraw that case and refile with a much stronger, restructured petition. The refiled case (this one) was approved without an RFE.

My case is not STEM, not research, not academic—purely business-focused, centered on growth, scalability, and economic impact. I know there’s a lot of skepticism around NIW approvals outside STEM, but it can work if the petition is framed correctly and supported well.

Posting this to give some hope to other business/entrepreneur NIW applicants, especially those who’ve received RFEs before. Happy to answer general questions—this process is stressful, and real timelines helped me a lot.
