Banasthali Vidyapeeth (World's Second Largest Women's Uni) : Harassment And Intimidation Among Girls

(Long Read - You Can Directly Skip To The 3rd Paragraph If You Want) This Is more of a Storytime than a vent , but I need to get this out there . I have been a student of Banasthali For Two Years (11th And 12th) . Currently In college . My Batchmate Called Me Today And Shared The Story Of Her Younger Sister Who Is Still Studying In Banasthali In 7th Class . Her Younger Sister , Got Into A Group Of Some Other 13-14 Year Old Girls In Her Hostel . My Batchmate Shared How Her Sister Had Been Spending A lot Of Money On Food - She Simply Used To Think That Her Diet Has Increased And That's Why The Family Would Just Wire The Money And Not Ask Much Questions Regarding That . The Truth Came Out Much Later .

My Batchmate - Along With Her Mother - Decided To Pay A Surprise Hostel Visit To Her (Let's Call Her "Riya" - A Fake Name , just for the convenience of the story) . When they reached there - They Found Out That All The Thousands Of Rupees That Were Being Spent , Were Being Spent On Feeding The "Friends" Of Riya . Riya trusted her friends a lot and thought of them as her well-wishers . These "friends" also stole Her Silver Chain , Her ATM Card , Her Aadhar Card And Her Clothes too - They gave their old clothes to her in exchange of her new clothes , Riya simply thought of it as innocent "sharing" among friends (They are 13-14 year olds btw) . They Also Intentionally Cut Her Hair In A Very Horrendous Fashion . My Batchmate And Her Mother went to the principal to complain about it , The Principal Ordered The Teacher To Bring Riya's Attendance Record Into The Office . Once the Attendance Record Arrived , It was Clear That Riya Had Not Been Attending School At All . Apparently , These "Friends" of hers had been telling her - "All This Studying Is Useless , We'll become the DONS Of Banasthali" - So They Used To Skip School and spend the entire day in the market - effectively fooling the warden AND the Teachers For SEVERAL MONTHS.

The Rich Part - When My Batchmate's Mother was Sitting in the room . One of Riya's "friends" confronted Aunty And Said "Aap Kitna Mooh Chalati Hai , Thoda Mooh Kam Chalaya Kariye - Humne Toh Aapki Beti Ka Bas 'Istemaal' Kiya Tha , Humne Kabhi Usko Dost Nahi Maana . Agar Aapne Zyada Mooh Chalaya Toh Aapke Liye Accha Nahi Hoga - Aapko Hume 6,000 rupaye dene honge agar aap chahti hain ki hum kucch na kare" They are 13-14 Year Old Girls By The way 🤡🤡 Threatening An Adult Person For Money Too . The Aunty replied "Tum Jaisi Ladkiyon Ko Toh Chappal Se Maarna Chahiye" (she just said that , did nothing and didn't raise any hand) Not Only That , These Girls got their Ego Hurt And Then Wrote An Application To Put A FAKE ACCUSATION On My Batchmate's Mother that she was using abusive language etc.etc. These Girls Have A "Bihari Lobby" In The Entite Hostel , An Attack Over One Girl And 10 of them will shamelessly reach your room to outnumber and harass you . They Tore Apart Riya's clothes and threw them in the dustbin (in front of her) . During sports - They would use illegal or banned methods to fight and subdue their opponents and physically harass them (which I Think Riya Also Went Through) . They Also Forced Her Out Of Parade And Other Activities . The Parents Of These Girls DEFENDED Their Daughter's Actions Actually And My Batchmate's Mother Was Banned From Entering The Hostel Corridor .

I Personally Think This Isn't Just Silly School Fights , It's Criminal-Minded Behaviour And Full Blown Mental And Physical Harassment . 13-14 year olds doing this may lead to lifelong consequences for the Victim , Parents and The Harassers alike .
